A NIGHT ON THE WATER
After a
busy “shop til you drop” afternoon with Joanie, we regrouped at Ron & Joanie’s
place for a night on the water on Harry & Stephanie’s 32’ Tiara. What an unbelievable treat this was!!!!
GO BLUE! (Michigan Fan!!)
The boat
is beautiful, just the right size for doing anything, but gets less fuel
efficiency than the MH! OH WELL!
Ron's ready to go!
CAPTAIN HARRY
We clamored
on board around 6:30 and headed about four miles out into Sutton’s Bay.
Ron then proceeded to set the fishing lines
as Harry called off the depths of the salmon…..80’ – 100’ meanwhile Joanie
pulled out the snacks and cracked the beers!
JOANIE & STEPHANIE
We
trolled up and down on an absolutely beautiful, balmy night watching the sun
sink lower in the sky.
LIFE IN THE FAST LANE!
The salmon will
start biting after sunset…..everyone was sure.
HARRY & STEPHANIE
Sunset was at 7:45, 75 minutes from where it was when we came up in August! The fish seemed to be deeper than our lines and not very hungry tonight.
It didn’t matter
though. Sunset was gorgeous
and the harvest moon came up over the boat.
We finished
up around 8:30
Came back for pizza
and beer before heading back to our homes.
LIFE IS
GOOD!
