GO SHOPPING!
We headed out to Madison, Ohio
where Dave identified an RV supply store.
He is looking for odds and ends and this place definitely had odds and
ends and then some. I’ve never seen such
a well stocked RV store before. Much for
stuff than you can find in a CW store.
Everything from knob replacements on the crank out windows to cabinet
door replacements and furniture and all the hardware in-between. It was really great and we spent a lot of
time wandering around. I picked up two
lawn spinners and an MH Christmas ornament; Dave got a replacement slide for
our awning. It was a good time.
Went from there
to Walmart for the toilet paper, odds and ends run and then headed over to
Geneva on the Lake for lunch and wine.
OHIO HAS WINERIES?????
Apparently this
area has quite a few wineries, well over 100, and they grow their own grapes. We stopped at Lakehouse Inn & Winery, a
very pretty B&B, restaurant and winery located right on Lake Erie. Probably would have been nicer if the weather
cooperated. Lake Erie was throwing some
good surf and I understand tomorrow with the wind shift it’ll be worse …and
they call it a lake??
We tried their
Merlot, Cab, Reisling, Peach White and Blush.
It was tastey, not what I’m used to, but interesting. We got a map of the area with directions to
the other wineries so hopefully when the weather clears it’ll be fun.
Headed back to the RV for an afternoon nap .... all that hard work and settle in for the night. The wind blew and it rained and rained. We were cozy in our little home.
